Who we are and what you're agreeing to

NourishNest is operated by Josie LLC, which is the seller of the NourishNest service. By creating an account or continuing to use NourishNest, you enter into an agreement with Josie LLC and accept these terms.

For purchases, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, as described in the billing section below.

Educational use only

This app provides general nutrition information and is not medical advice. Nutrient needs can vary based on individual health, pregnancy, medications, laboratory results, and medical history. Discuss your nutrition and supplements with your healthcare professional.

NourishNest does not diagnose, does not tell you that you are deficient in anything, and never promises an outcome such as conception or a particular result in pregnancy. Always talk to your healthcare professional about your individual situation, including any supplement or medication.

Food safety

Food-safety guidance is general educational information and is not a substitute for advice from your healthcare professional. Recommendations may differ based on individual medical circumstances.

Pregnancy food-safety entries come from published guidance from the FDA, CDC, USDA/FSIS, ACOG and the EPA. Each entry shows its source and when it was last reviewed. Guidance can change; check the source if something looks out of date.

Accuracy of the numbers

Nutrient values come from published food composition data and from labels you or an image reader enter. Where a value is not known, NourishNest shows it as unknown rather than counting it as zero, so totals are always an estimate of what has been recorded — not a measurement of what is in your body.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Use NourishNest for your own personal tracking only.

You may stop using NourishNest at any time, and we may suspend an account that is used in a way that harms other people or the service.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

NourishNest Plus is a paid subscription. Monthly Plus is $7.99 and annual Plus is $59.99, listed in US dollars; your local currency and any sales tax or VAT are shown in checkout before you pay.

Eligible new accounts can start one 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it and nothing is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial. Each account can receive the free trial once.

Subscriptions renew automatically — every month for the monthly plan and every year for the annual plan — until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can cancel at any time from My Profile → Subscription, or from the billing portal linked in the receipt email.

You can request a refund within 14 days of a monthly charge, or within 30 days of an annual charge, as set out in the Refund Policy. Cancelling and requesting a refund are different things, so tell us if you want both.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Paddle collects payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt or invoice, and processes refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's privacy notice apply to the purchase itself.

Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live, including any statutory right to cancel or withdraw from a purchase. Where those rights give you more than this document, they apply.

What you may not do

Do not use NourishNest to break the law, to harass anyone, to upload content you have no right to use, or to try to reach another person's account or data. Do not attempt to bypass the sign-in, subscription or entitlement checks, scrape or bulk-copy the recipe and food libraries, resell access, or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on.

We may suspend or close an account that is used in these ways.

Ownership

NourishNest, its name, design, text, recipe and food libraries and software remain owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app while your account is active; it does not transfer any ownership.

The information you enter — your logs, profile, recipes and preferences — remains yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it back to you inside your own account.

Responsibility and limits

NourishNest is provided on an as-is basis and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every nutrient value or food-safety entry is complete or current.

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, our responsibility for loss connected to your use of NourishNest is limited. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law — including rights relating to death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will show you the updated document and ask you to review and accept it again before you continue using your account. Each acceptance is recorded with the document version and the date.

Not medical advice

Nourish provides general educational nutrition and food-safety information. Nourish does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for care from your physician, OB-GYN, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional.

Pregnancy and nutritional needs vary between individuals. Do not start, stop, or change medications or supplements based solely on information provided by Nourish.

If you have questions about your pregnancy, symptoms, medical conditions, medications, supplements, laboratory results, or individual nutritional needs, contact your healthcare professional.

No diagnosis or treatment decisions

Totals, statuses, and suggestions in Nourish describe what you have recorded. They never mean that you are deficient, at risk, or that you should start, stop, or change a supplement, medication, or diet. Decisions like that belong with your healthcare professional.

Food safety guidance

Pregnancy food-safety information summarises published guidance from public health authorities and may not reflect your own circumstances or the most recent update. Check the linked source and ask your healthcare professional if you are unsure.

Emergency disclaimer

If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including heavy bleeding, severe pain, fever, reduced fetal movement, or a suspected foodborne illness — call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Do not delay emergency care because of something you read here.
