Pregnancy diet tracker

See what your food provides — and be told honestly when the data runs out

A pregnancy diet tracker that doesn't guess

NourishNest is a private nutrition companion for pregnancy and preconception. Log what you eat, see how it compares with published reference amounts for your stage, check food-safety guidance, and get ideas for what to eat next — built on your own logs, your allergies and your preferences.

It never diagnoses, never promises outcomes, and never invents a number. Where a nutrient value is unknown, it says so.

What it does

A food diary that fits pregnancy

Log meals by search, barcode scan, a photo of a recipe or nutrition label, or by hand. Foods you can't find can be added yourself — nothing you eat is turned away because it isn't in a database.

Nutrient totals against published references

Your day is compared with established reference amounts for pregnancy — folate, iron, choline, calcium, vitamin D, iodine, protein, fiber and more. Food and supplements are always shown separately, and only added together where the label says so.

Unknown is never zero

When a food has no published value for a nutrient, NourishNest says “insufficient data” instead of silently counting it as zero. You always see how complete the picture is.

Pregnancy food-safety guidance

Every food can be checked against guidance published by the FDA, CDC, USDA/FSIS, ACOG and EPA — mercury in fish, pasteurization, deli meats, leftovers and more. Each entry shows the reason, the source and when it was last reviewed.

Recipes and ideas matched to you

Suggestions consider your stage, what you've already logged today, your allergies, the foods you avoid and your preferences — not the same list for everyone. Anything you've marked as an allergy or dislike is simply never offered.

Meal plans and grocery lists

Plan the week from recipes and groceries, send ingredients to a grocery list, and see the nutrient coverage of the week before you shop.

Common questions

Is NourishNest medical advice?

No. NourishNest organizes the food you record and the published guidance behind it. It cannot assess your body, diagnose a deficiency, or tell you what you personally need. Those are conversations for your OB-GYN, physician or registered dietitian.

Where do the nutrient numbers come from?

From published food-composition data, nutrition labels and ingredient-based calculation. Every food shows how its figures were obtained, the source, and when they were last updated — and estimated values are labeled as estimates, never presented as verified.

Can it tell me if I'm deficient in something?

No — a food log can't show that. It shows what you recorded against general reference amounts for your stage. Only a healthcare professional can assess your actual nutrient status.

What does it cost?

Core food logging, nutrient totals and the food-safety guide are free. Premium adds the full recipe library, unlimited suggestions, the weekly planner, grocery lists and reports. Current prices are on the pricing page.

Is my food diary private?

Yes. Your logs, photos and personal details belong to your account alone and are never shared with other members. Shared content such as the food and recipe library contains no personal data.

A note on care

NourishNest provides educational nutrition and food-safety information. It is not a substitute for individualized care from your OB-GYN, physician or registered dietitian, and it never recommends starting or stopping a supplement or medication.

This app provides general nutrition information and is not medical advice. Nutrient needs can vary based on individual health, pregnancy, medications, laboratory results, and medical history. Discuss your nutrition and supplements with your healthcare professional.
