About NourishNest

Who makes it and how it works

Why I built NourishNest

By Joshandra Briggs, founder.

I created NourishNest from my own journey through fertility challenges and IVF. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to wonder whether you're eating the right foods, getting enough nutrients, or making safe choices for yourself and your baby.

NourishNest was built to take the guesswork out of nutrition during the journey to motherhood.

What makes NourishNest different is that it brings pregnancy food safety, personalized nutrient tracking, prenatal supplement guidance, meal planning, and practical food recommendations together in one place. It adapts to your journey — whether you're trying to conceive, pregnant, or navigating postpartum.

My goal isn't just to help women track what they eat. It's to help them understand what their bodies need, make informed food choices, and feel more confident without constantly searching for answers or feeling guilty about every bite.

NourishNest is more than a nutrition app. It's the supportive resource I wish I had during my own journey.

Who runs it

NourishNest is made and operated by Josie LLC in the United States. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record.

Where the information comes from

Food-safety guidance is based on FDA, CDC, USDA/FSIS, EPA and ACOG guidance. Nutrient data comes from USDA FoodData Central, product labels and the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database.

When a food doesn't report a nutrient, we show it as unknown. It is never guessed or counted as zero.

What it is not

NourishNest is educational. It does not diagnose deficiencies, predict pregnancy outcomes or replace your healthcare professional.
